Roku Activation Issues

Activating your Roku device is a fairly simple process. All it takes is a few minutes of hardware and software setup, and you can be done. Next, if the Roku device is connected to the TV via an extension or a Hub, remove it and connect it directly to the TV.

Roku is properly connected to an internet

Roku relies on internet connectivity for software updates and activation codes. If Roku is not connected to the internet then the Roku activation process is held up. Here a few things you can do to fix this.

  • Make sure that the internet connection that you have is indeed a strong one, and if it a wired one, unplug the wire and replug it again.
  • If it a wireless connection, switching the modem off and on should help marginally.
  • But simply make sure to connect to the right service provider by keying in the correct password while connecting to a wireless internet through Go.Roku.com/wireless.

Roku device not synced to Roku account

If you aren’t able to connect to the Roku account via your Roku device, here are the possible reasons –

  1. Internet connectivity.
  2. Password incorrect.
  3. Username incorrect.
